Personal data processing policy

This personal data processing policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) is applied by Veles CGK LTD, an English company with its company number: 14545743, registered office address: 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, Fitzrovia, London, England, W1T 6EB (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”) according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. General Provisions
1.1. This Policy establishes the procedure for collecting, storing and protecting personal data of Clients who use the Operator’s services.
1.2. Clients agree to the processing of personal data in accordance with this Policy by ticking the box - “I agree”, by registering a Personal Account on the Operator’s website or by purchasing or using the services.
1.3. Please read the Policy carefully, it will help you to understand its scope and make a decision about providing your personal data. In case of disagreement with these terms, the Client must refrain from using the services provided by the Operator.
1.4 This Policy may be changed, replaced or removed at any time without prior notice. It is recommended that you review this page periodically for the latest revisions.

2. Whose personal data is processed:
2.1. Clients who have contractual relations with the Operator, or their authorized representatives.

3. Clients personal data processing purposes
The Operator processes Clients personal data for the following purposes:
3.1. Provision of services by the Operator in accordance with the agreement concluded between the Operator and the Client;
3.2. Getting feedback from the Client, e.g. sending notifications regarding the services provision, processing the Clients requests and application forms.

4. Categories of personal data processed by the Operator
4.1. To achieve the processing purposes provided in this Policy, the Operator processes the following categories of Clients personal data:
  • name;
  • email address;
  • billing address
  • phone number.

5. Methods and conditions for processing Clients personal data
5.1. The Operator carries out automated or non-automated processing of Clients personal data.
5.2. The personal data of Clients is kept confidential, except in cases where the Client voluntarily provides information about himself/herself for general access to an unlimited number of persons.
5.3. The Operator discloses information about Clients to third parties only in cases where there is an obligation to do so in accordance with applicable law, requests of government authorities, legal proceedings, or a court order.
5.4. Processing and storage of Clients personal data is carried out until the Client refuses the Operator services.
5.5. In the event of the Client’s refusal of the Operator services, the Client’s personal data is removed by deleting the account, after that such records cannot be restored.
5.6. The Operator provides services to Clients by hosting its website on the getcourse.io, which includes a software designed to create online courses and organize the learning process. The getcourse.io uses the HTTPS extension to the HTTP protocol to improve security and protect information.

6. Ensuring the security of personal data
6.1. The Operator shall take the necessary organizational and technical measures to protect the Client's personal data from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as from other illegal actions of third parties. The Operator shall follow generally accepted industry standards for the protection of personal data on all stages of personal data processing.
6.2. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the Operator independently determines the list of measures necessary and sufficient to ensure the fulfillment of obligations stipulated by personal data protection legislation.
6.3. The protection of personal data is achieved by:
6.3.1. Appointment of a person responsible for the processing and protection of personal data;
6.3.2. Policy statements;
6.3.3. Access restrictions of the Operator’s employees to information containing Clients personal data, in accordance with their job (functional) responsibilities;
6.4. The Client can protect own personal data by revoking consent to the processing of personal data or by other legal measures.
6.5. The Operator, together with the Client, takes all necessary measures to prevent losses or other negative consequences caused by the loss or disclosure of the Client’s personal data.
6.6. In case of loss or disclosure of personal data, the Operator shall inform the Client about the loss or disclosure of personal data.

7. Responsibility of the Parties
7.1. In the event of failure to fulfill its obligations, the Operator shall be liable for losses incurred by the Client in connection with the unlawful use of personal data, in accordance with legislation.
7.2. In case of loss or disclosure of confidential information, the Operator shall not be liable, if this confidential information:
7.2.1. Was made publicly known and made generally available prior to the time of disclosure;
7.2.2. Was disclosed with the consent of the Client.

8. Additional terms
8.1. The Operator has the right to make changes to this Personal Data Processing Policy without the Client’s consent.
8.2. The new Policy shall enter into force from the moment it is posted on the website, unless otherwise provided by the new version of the Policy.
